Engineering mechanics - System of force

System of Forces in Mechanics When multiple forces act on a body simultaneously, they form what is known as a system of forces. Force systems can be classified into various subdivisions, each with unique characteristics. Colinear Forces: Colinear forces are those that act along a common line. If these forces act in the same direction, they are termed "like colinear." Conversely, if they act in opposite directions, they are referred to as "unlike colinear." Coplanar Forces: Coplanar force systems involve forces that act within a single plane. There are two subcategories within coplanar forces: Concurrent Coplanar Forces: In this scenario, all forces intersect at a common point within the same plane. This arrangement is termed concurrent coplanar forces. Non-Concurrent Coplanar Forces: Unlike concurrent forces, non-concurrent co-planar forces do not intersect at a common point. However, they still act within the same plane. Non-Coplanar Forces: Non-coplanar force s

Short notes about Earhquake

Image
What is Earthquake? The shaking or trembling caused by the sudden release of energy. Usually associated with faulting or breaking of rocks. continuing adjustment of position results in aftershocks. The earthquake was measured by a seismogram, the seismogram was drawn in seismograph. The scale of an earthquake is Richter magnitude scale and  This Seismogram was invented by Charles Richter.  Explain How energy is stored in rocks? Rocks bend until the strength of the rock is exceeded. rupture occurs and quickly rebound to an undeformed shape. energy is released in waves that radiate outward from the fault. The Focus and Epicentre of an earthquake Focus:  The point within Earth where faulting begins is called as the focus. the focus is also known as hypocentre Epicenter: The point directly above the focus on the surface is the epicenter The below diagram represents the what is the epicenter and focus point here you can easily understand what is that? Where

2 BHK Residential building line plan and its .dwg & .pdf

2BHK Residential building Download AutoCAD PDF All dimensions are in cm. the green layer is defined as the roof. block color is a wall, a red color is doors and window, and orange color is the furniture. That will be defined above the plan as use well. the previous diagram is explored about basic size. here we explain again that details and other things will be explained below, where, D - main door - 110 cm D1 - bedroom door -  90 cm D2 - bathroom door - 80 cm W2 - 100 cm W3 - 150 cm V2 - 100 cm KW3 - 150 cm KW2 - 100 cm FW3 - 150 cm FW4 - 200 cm and other dimensions are given in above diagram.

What is Building Foundation? and Explanation of foundation types.

Foundation: Foundation is the substructure of the building structure. The function of load transferring to the foundation is beam transfer the load to the column then column load transfer to the foundation then the foundation transfer the load to the ground is the process of foundation load transferring to the ground. Types of foundation: Shallow foundation Spread Footing Combined footing Strip footing Strap footing Mat or raft footing Deep foundation End bearing pile Friction pile Shallow foundation Condition- D < B where, D- depth of the foundation B- width of the foundation  this condition according to the Terzaghi's theory. In this law what he tells depth is less than the width is called as the shallow foundation Spread Footing The spread footing is provided to support the individual column. Some time it spread the load to the larger area so is called spread footing because of spread footing is had the individual t

Staircase (dog-legged) design and original line plan AutoCAD file(.dwg) & .pdf included

Staircase design and its specification (Dog-legged) download Auto CAD PDF TYPE OF STAIRCASE     Many types of staircase used, But here we used the Dog- legged staircase. SPECIFICATION OF STAIRCASE Riser      - 6" Tread     - 9"-1'2" Landing - 3' depending on the staircase Noting   - 1" Width     - 3 to 5' depending uses   Length   - 9'-14' Now the above dimension is basics sizes of the staircase. In this case, we are used below dimension that dimensions are Riser 6" Tread 9" Landing 3' Width 3' Length 14' The width of the stair you can see in a diagram is 7' on both sides of the stairs. but that not width of the stair is the cap between two stairs is 1'(compromise on landing) so we here represent as the 7'.  In this case, we used the dog-legged or U-shape staircase we used. The slope is noted more than 30 degrees to 45 degrees. Raiser value is not more than 6", If yo
